Avalon Web Systems Appointment Texts.

Program Description

We send text messages in two cases only.

• Appointment texts. When you book a website review appointment with Avalon Web Systems on a phone call and give us your mobile number for the confirmation, we send you text messages about that appointment: a confirmation with the meeting link, a reminder the day before, a reminder the morning of, and a reminder shortly before the call.
• Replies when you text us first. If you send a text to our number first, we may reply with a short message asking when is a good time to call you back. We send no more than two replies per conversation.

Replies you send are read by a person at Avalon. We never send marketing texts.

How You Opt In

Consent is given verbally, on a recorded phone call, when you book an appointment with an Avalon Web Systems representative. The representative asks, word for word: “Is this the best number to text you the appointment confirmation and reminders on, or your cell? Message and data rates may apply, you’ll get up to four texts about this appointment, and you can reply STOP at any time or HELP for help.” If you say yes and give or confirm a mobile number, that number is entered on the booking and the confirmation text follows. There is no web form, no purchased list and no keyword opt-in. Only people who booked an appointment receive appointment texts, and your consent is kept with the call recording and the booking record.

If you text our number first, your text is your request for a reply. We answer that conversation only, with no more than two short replies asking when to call you back, and we do not add your number to any list.

Message Frequency

Appointment texts: message frequency varies with how far out the appointment is and whether it is rescheduled. Replies when you text us first: no more than 2 messages per conversation.

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details.

Opting Out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will get one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that.

Privacy

How we handle your number and your replies is covered in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Scope of Work

Avalon provides website design, development, digital marketing, video production, and related digital services as outlined in the agreed proposal.

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate content, branding, and assets
• Respond in a timely manner to feedback requests
• Approve designs and revisions within the project timeline

Signing Online

You can sign your agreement with us online. Typing your name and clicking to sign is your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper. We record your typed name, the date and time, your IP address and your device as the signature record, and email you a signed copy. See our Privacy Policy for how we keep this record.

Payments

• All upfront fees are due before project work begins
• Ongoing service agreements are billed on a recurring basis
• Payments are non-refundable once work has started
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card or bank numbers

Ownership

Upon full payment, clients own the final website deliverables. Avalon retains the right to showcase the work in portfolios and marketing.

No Guarantees

Avalon does not guarantee specific business results, traffic, or revenue outcomes.

Termination

Either party may terminate services. Completed work up to the termination date remains billable.
